The Journey of the Emperor Necklace is inspired by the rise and fall of an Emperor and the journey one has in dealing with both fortune and adversity that life brings your way. The necklace is a collectible item of jewellery as it features an antique replica Napolean III coin (circa 1852-1870), handcrafted in silver and coated in 22 karat gold plating.
Napolean III as a child witnessed the French empire collapse which forced his family into hiding. As an adult he returned the empire from ruins and then ruled it. He is also the man who created modern day Paris, the politician who made France great again, and the general who led his nation into a ruinous war. This reflects the complexities of individuals and how we all have our own triumphs and tribulations in our own journeys. No one thing defines us as we are the sum of all of our experiences.
